Flight Centre Limited Offset Carbon Emissions
Flight Centre is committed to limiting its personal impact on global warming and, in an effort to lead by example, we now offset all carbon emissions for flights to our company conferences and annual global gathering.
We have teamed up with the environmental organisation, Climate Care, which is a service that helps repair the damage that flying does to the climate.
It does this by ‘offsetting' the greenhouse gas emissions, such as CO2, from our activities by reducing an equivalent amount of CO2 on our behalf.
Climate Care's projects avoid, reduce or absorb greenhouse gases through:
- Renewable energy – energy creating no extra CO2 emissions
- Energy efficiency – using less energy to reduce CO2 emissions
- Forest restoration – absorbing and storing CO2
